Even thoughMario Kart 8 Deluxetook the top spot at 57.01 million units sold, the fact thatTears of the Kingdomhas already made the top ten in half a year is nonetheless remarkable. As a result, millions ofZeldaplayers have been able to create all kinds of vehicles and contraptions using the game’s Zonai devices and Link’s new abilities.
One player showed what Tears of the Kingdomplayers can do to deal a lot of damage quickly. A Redditor named POGO_BOY38 assembled a mobile, spinning flame turret and recorded a 22-second video with proof of their concept on the r/tearsofthekingdom subreddit. While other players have madeTears of the Kingdomdevices that ended in disaster, the OP’s device proved effective to a degree. With a stabilizer and two tank treads at the base, the deadly device’s main method of causing chaos was the big wheel placed at the top. Two flame turrets and two lasers were attached to the wheel, and an ice turret was placed in the back as a makeshift motor.
While the device is capable of harming Link, the OP was able to turn it loose on a base full of bokoblins, including a boss bokoblin. Though the device is likely not going to work againstcertain bosses inTears of the Kingdom, that did not stop the player from showing off what their creation could do. In the comments, someTears of the Kingdomplayers added feedback to the OP’s video, with one fans stating that another stabilizer or two could improve the device’s functionality.
With plenty of devices for players to unleash upon Hyrule,Tears of the Kingdomis one example ofhow good gaming has been in 2023. It remains to be seen whatZeldafans will create next.
