Even more history was made during the Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series Japan Tokyo 2024 event earlier this week, which has set the Guinness World Record for both the most entrants in a single trading card game tournament and the largest number of people playing against each other in the same venue at the same time.Konamiitself reported the milestone, which was achieved when 7,443 participants registered for the two-day event at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. This is only the second time that aYu-Gi-Ohcard game tournamentbroke a record, with the first being the 100th Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series in Long Beach, California back in 2012.
