World of Warcraftrecently shared an official preview of the Fyrakk Assaults world event coming in Patch 10.1,Embers of Neltharion. This newWorld of Warcraftoutdoor activity will add a new challenge to the game that will be nostalgic for players who rememberCataclysm.

Patch 10.1,Embers of Neltharion, iscoming toWorld of Warcrafton May 2. This major content update adds the new Zaralek Cavern zone complete with an expanded story campaign, tons of new quests, cosmetics, and content to enjoy. The post also talked about some of the rewards players can get during the Fyrakk Assaults. Players can earn high-quality new gear and armor appearances themed afterthe Black Dragonflight inWorld of Warcraft. This new equipment looks great and has competitive stats to help clear difficult content. Additionally, players can earn the Still Standing in the Fire achievement by dying to Fyrakk’s fiery assault–a callback to the Stood in the Fire achievement players got duringCataclysmfor dying to Deathwing’s burning breath.

Many players are excited about the Fyrakk Assaults inEmbers of Neltharion. The Primal Storms–the world event added inDragonflight–is a fun and easily-grindable activity reminiscent of the popular Legion Assaults from the Broken Isles. The Fyrakk Assaults seem to be a continuation of that popular formula spearheaded byDragonflight’smost incendiary Primal Incarnate.

Fyrakk and his siblings have gathered quite a strong group of fans since their introduction inDragonflight. Recent artwork of thenewWorld of Warcraftvillains has caused players to lose their mindsabout how cool their designs and personalities are. Fyrakk, Iridikron, and Vyranoth aren’t going anywhere quite yet, so players can probably look forward to seeing more of them–possibly even in more world events–in the future ofDragonflight.

World of Warcraftis available now for PC.
