World of Warcrafthas extended the deadline for players to obtain the Embodiment of Shadowflame Drakewatcher Manuscript for their Renewed Proto-Drakes until the end ofDragonflightSeason 4. Though this rare mount was originally supposed to be removed from Heroic Fyrakk’s loot table at the end ofDragonflightSeason 3, it seemsWorld of Warcraftfans have a few more months to claim it.
InDragonflightSeason 3,World of Warcraftplayers had the chance to obtain several special mounts from the Amirdrassil, The Dream’s Hope raid. Two of these mounts came in the form of Fyrakk-themed full-transformation Drakewatcher Manuscripts for the Renewed Proto-Drake: the Embodiment of the Blazing and the Embodiment of Shadowflame. The latter is a guaranteed drop from Heroic Fyrakk, which was originally stated to begoing away at the start ofWoW: DragonflightSeason 4.
However, it seemsWorld of Warcrafthas changed its mind in that regard. When Season 4 began on April 23, fans discovered the Everglowing Ember, the quest item that awards the Embodiment of Shadowflame, was still dropping. In a recent forum post,WoWcommunity manager Kaivax confirmed this was intentional, and that players will have until the end ofDragonflightSeason 4 to pick up this special Drakewatcher Manuscript if they haven’t already.
How to Get the Embodiment of Shadowflame Drakewatcher Manuscript in WoW: Dragonflight
ShadowlandsSeason 4 ran until the start of the Pre-Patch event forDragonflight. AssumingWorld of Warcraftfollows this precedent, the end ofDragonflightSeason 4 will likely coincide with theWar WithinPre-Patch. While Blizzard hasn’t shared an exact date for this yet, manysuspect that theWoW: The War WithinPre-Patch will begin on August 20, as it is the day afterWorld of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandariaends, and a couple of months after the start of its beta testing.
The Embodiment of Shadowflame will no longer beobtainable afterWoW DragonflightSeason 4, but the Embodiment of the Blazing should be. This transformation has a low chance of dropping on any difficulty, but a guaranteed one from the Mythic version.World of Warcraftmay lower the chance to obtain this uncorrupted transformation of Fyrakk once the Mythic raid is no longer endgame content, but it will hopefully not be removed from the game like its shadowy counterpart.
