With the ultimate goal of reaching 30 minutes survived on each of the maps and finding death,Vampire Survivorsplayers should always keep upgrading and evolving their gear. One such item, the Pentagram, can be a very powerful weapon once found and evolved.
How to Unlock the Pentagram
The Pentagram has two different methods of unlocking within Vampire Survivors. The first is through unlocking the playable character Christine Davain, as it is her starting weapon. Considering the only way to unlock her is to evolve the Pentagram to level 7 during a round, players will only be able to unlock her byusing the Spell Menu after finding the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbaneand entering the cheat code “crystalmakeup.”
For most players, the much easier method will be to simply survive for 20 minutes as any survivor on any map. This will make the Pentagram available as a random weapon drop while playingVampire Survivors, though finding one isn’t guaranteed.
Once selected, the Pentagram summons a purple glyph that shatters and erases all enemies, drops, and all non-stage items on the screen. It’s worth noting that some enemies are uneffected by the Pentagram. In addition, the higher the player’s luck stat and item level also increases the chance that items will not be destroyed. At level 1, the item as a 10% chance to not destroy items.
How to Evolve the Pentagram
Most weapons inside Vampire Survivors can evolve, such as theClock Lancet becoming Infinite Corridor. This process is fairly straightforward as players will need to push the Pentagram to its maximum level of 7 and then make sure to select the Crown passive item as the catalyst.
When these conditions are met, players can earn the Gorgeous Moon, which erases all enemies from screen but no longer destroys pickups or items on the ground. In addition, it generates extra XP and finishes the animation with a vacuum effect that pulls in all gems in the level. Players can further impact this item with higher cooldown upgrades, making the item trigger more often to a maximum of every 15 seconds.
