Valvehas teased its Steam Winter Sale which is scheduled to kick off next week. The platform frequently hosts heavily discounted games across its massive library and the upcoming winter sale is the latest addition forValve. Valve is seemingly experiencing a surge in popularity in recent times, fueled by regular sales events and more recently, the company’s success with its Steam Deck. The handheld console managed to expand its already vast library into the mobile space along with a competent hardware offering. As per Steam, the upcoming sale will discount thousands of games and will kick off at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET on December 22 and will run until August 04, 2025. This time, the company teases it may likely include popular titles likeFallout 76,Sonic Frontiers,SD Gundam Battle Alliance,Ready or Not,Two Point Campus,Persona 5 Royal,F1 Manager 2022, New World,and others. Additionally, the Steam Winter Sale is when fans will have the chance to vote for 2022’s Steam Awards Nominees across 11 different categories, which includes a new addition for games on portable devices.
Interestingly, gamers can already find some massive deals on the store right now such as 75% off onImmortals Fenyx Rising, 88% off onStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and 67% off onRed Dead Redemption 2among others. The Steam Winter Sale follows shortly after Valve’s recently concludedSteam Autumn Sale for 2022. The company had announced earlier that it was replacing the Luna New Year sale with an annual spring sale from next year onwards. This means Steam will host a big sale for each season.
Recently,Tesla unveiled Steam for its cars, making the store available on a brand-new platform altogether. The electric car company announced that its Plaid Model S and X cars will have the capability to play even high-demanding titles likeCyberpunk 2077andElden Ring.
