How To Host A Baby Shower in The Sims 4
Although it always appears as an option when the player picks up their Sim’s phone to try to plan a social event, Baby Showers can only be thrown under specific conditions.
To host a Baby Shower, the Sim hosting it must either be the expecting parent or be in the same lot as them. Then, simply use the phone, enter the Social tab, and select Plan a Social Event.
The party can be thrown for one or two expecting parents; the guest list must at least include two Sims, and it can take place on acommunity lot or a Sim’s house.
Baby Shower Event Rewards
The Baby Shower social event isn’t too challenging; it mostly involves discussing the upcoming baby, and with the right preparation, players will be able toeasily get themselves a gold medal.
The main goal of the Baby Shower is totalk about the baby a total of six times. Unfortunately, there are only two social interactions that will count towards this task’s progress:the Gush About New Baby and the Guess New Baby’s Future Career interactions.
The Infants update changed the social menu, so it can be hard to find them at first with the new categorized tabs, butboth interactions can be found in the Friendly menu under the Small Talk option.
Players should also purchase a Celebration Cannon and a stereo ahead of time because one of the tasks will require gamers to set off the cannon, and another will require their Sim to dance. Here are the rewards for all obtainable metals:
