Anticipation is building for Rocksteady Studios' action-adventure game as its May release date approaches. To both build up excitement and capitalize on the game’s release, DC Comics has decided to put out aSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguetie-in comic namedSuicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum. It’ll be a great opportunity to meet the squad of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark before they take on the Justice League.Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewas first announced in 2020, so fans have been waiting for the game for some time. The game takes its name from the popularSuicide Squadcomic book, but it would be fair to say that it’s also heavily inspired byWarner Bros.‘Suicide Squadfilms. Despite the game now having a May 26 release date, much aboutSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueremains unannounced. The story ofSuicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylumstarts with Amanda Waller taking control of Arkham Asylum, which she’s now using as a recruitment center for the latest iteration of Task Force X. The comic will explain how Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark go from Arkham Asylum patients tomembers of theSuicide Squadseen in the new game. Suffice it to say, Waller isn’t going to ask them nicely.

Despite the delays,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueremains one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2023. Rocksteady Studios has built up a reputation for excellent AAA games with its work on theBatman Arkhamtrilogy.
