The gameplay is fast-paced and changes rapidly, calling for players to think on their feet andtrust and work together with their teammates. While sometimes, it’s better to just jump into things and learn through experience, a few tips and tricks to think about can help both new and old players.

7There’s No “I” In Team

Veiled Experts,at its core, is afree-to-play5v5 team-based action shooter. Just about every aspect of the game from the things that can be bought with coins to even the Agents themselves are set up for players to work in harmony with their teammates.

It’s important to stay within close range of one’s team, in case they need assistance or someone else does. It’s important to pick Agents that will promote synergy among the team.

The game focuses on team play and its important to listen and play well with teammates

6Stay Still

For those that have played TPS before, the controls forVeiled Expertswon’t be too different from other games. However, there are a few things to keep in mind to verify that every shot a player takes hits its intended target. Sometimes it’s better to stay still and try to shoot someone than move and shoot at the same time. A player’s accuracy falls off as they move since the scope on guns shifts and sways to a player’s movements.

When taking on enemies at close range, this isn’t too much of a problem. However, when it comes to trying to snipe enemies, being off by just a tiny bit could mean missing a target and alerting an enemy to one’s location. First, ensure to have proper cover, and then, using the shoulder aim, peek from behind the cover to see where the target is. Shoulder aim is oftentimes more accurate for peeking around corners to shoot because it provides a greater view of the situation.

5Keep Rolling, Rolling, Rolling…

One of the more unique gameplay mechanics ofVeiled Expertsis its rolling mechanic. Players can and should use this mechanic a lot during combat. Rolling faces the front and there are eight different directions one can move in. Players can actually dodge gunfire by rolling. Players can roll side to side to dodge gunfire that’s coming from in front of them. They can also roll awayto dodge an enemyfrom behind and then turn things around with a counterattack.

Players can roll and get behind cover faster. Rolling can even give a player who has taken damage time to roll away and get to a safer location so they can heal. Rolling can also help minimize one’s fall damage. A fall that might kill a player could become a much safer fall by rolling promptly.

Moving around too much will make it harder to accurately shoot

4Don’t Be Afraid To Spend Money

It will be tempting to hold onto one’s money at first and use it for later rounds, but being too frugal will not help a player. Don’t be afraid to spend a lot of money in the first round. Use it to buy as many bandages and armor as one can, as these two things will always come in handy.

Also, don’t be afraid to spend money on Team Upgrades. As this game is focused on team play, doing what one can to help out everyone on the team ultimately helps them in the end as well. The first team upgrades to consider are upgrading equipment and upgrading armor.

3Parkour

Veiled Expertsgives players a lot of fluid movement. Aside from rolling players can climb, jump, andParkour in the game. Players have a basic jump and a long jump that lets them cover a bit more distance. Pressing the space bar lets them jump and holding it will let them long jump. Players can also use the space bar to climb up tall structures like barricades and walls.

Even if a player misses their jump, they can catch themselves on the wall and pull themselves up, avoiding fall damage. Players can also decide to hang from ledges on buildings and move side to side to scale the ledge.

Rolling is a big gameplat mechanic and should be used often

2Don’t Forget The S.E.E.D.

With all the fast-paced action going on it might be hard to remember that the main goal of each round is to either plant the S.E.E.D. or to disarm it. The S.E.E.D. is a bomb, and in each round, teams take turns being the one to plant it and the one who disarms it.

No matter what team a player is on, it’s important to remember to carry out the main objective. If teams don’t do what they’re supposed to with the S.E.E.D. they will automatically lose once the round is over.

1Loot Everybody

Players can press the F key to auto-loot. If there is a Simon on the team, Simon can loot the coins off of dead enemies.
