Bonuses and Features

During this event, any egg that’s hatched will net players twice the amount of candy. Lucky eggs will also last one hour instead of half an hour. Additionally, all eggs received via gifts will be 2km eggs.

There are also four more pokémonwith flower hat variants, being:

All pokémon with these flower hats are unable to evolve. The easiest way to obtain the flower hat Pichu and Togepi is through hatching eggs, as those two are guaranteed to have their costume if hatched during the event. These are all the pokémon that can be hatched via the 2km eggs during the event.

For players who arelooking for a shiny versionof any of these pokémon, now is the chance to keep hatching until a shiny pops out. While hatching eggs doesn’t make getting a shiny any more likely, the event narrows the pool down for getting these specific pokémon.

Pokémon GO’s 2020 Spring Event lasts from April 9th to April 16th at 10 PM local time. While this event offers valuable rewards and cosmetics, players should remain cautious. Players also aren’t advised to leave their homes if their country is under a homestay order,asPokémon GOisn’t worth getting charges for.
