A newPokemonBuild-a-Bear plush is on its way. In adding to an already impressive monster collection, Dragonite is the latestPokemonthat will be able to be stuffed with fluff and love at the popular plush building store. The plush costs $29 USD by itself, but there are quite a few customizable options and accessories to perhaps make the Pokemon a unique and special gift.

Dragonite is an excellent choice for a Build-a-Bear. While some plushies are adorable and small, others can be excellent with size and plumpness, and this is the case with Dragonite. The retailer has already seen manyPokemonplushies, with atrio of Eevee evolutions being made into Build-a-Bear plushiesearlier this year coming to mind.

There are manyinteresting facts about Dragonite, and now the newest one is that it is a Build-a-Bear. Dragonite has been one of the more popular and beloved Pocket Monsters for the entirety of the existence of the franchise, as the flying and dragon type Pokemon has been around since generation one. The Dragonite Build-a-Bear is available now in both the US and the UK. A blue winter hat and scarf are available for the orange monster, while a purple mage-looking cape and a sound chip can be purchased as an online exclusive.

Perhaps the only thing bigger thanPokemonin 2020 for Nintendo has beenAnimal Crossing, andAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsalso received Build-a-Bear plushiesearlier this year. The relationship between The Big N and Build-a-Bear continues to be a strong one. Nintendo merchandise often sells well, so working on licensing agreements with the likes of Build-a-Bear is a great idea, especially over the holidays as these types of gifts are prevalent.

As far as a comparablePokemonBuild-a-Bear, theSnorlax Build-a-Bear plushthat came out last year was also a great addition. While the Snubbull and Psyduck Build-a-Bear plushies are cute and small, it is the giant huggable feeling of the likes of Snorlax and Dragonite that make them quite special.

Of course, if anyone was searching for a truly comfy and loveable Snorlax stuffed animal, a59-inch tall Snorlax plushwas made available earlier this year; at a very hefty price to match the hefty Pokemon. If that were a gift for any happy kid come Christmas this year, it would be rather difficult to hide it under the tree. For a more reasonable, but just as adorable plush,Pokemonand Nintendo-themed Build-a-Bears seem like very solid choices.
