InPalworld, there are over one hundred different Pal creatures to collect and train. However, not all Pals will be as easy to obtain as others, as some creatures are only available in certain spawn locations, or restricted to being obtained through breeding and Egg hatching.
Among the Pals that are more difficult to obtain,Elphidran Aquais one of the most significant challenges to secure. Elphidran Aqua is quite rare, as this Pal is restricted to being obtained from Huge Dragon Eggs, meaning you’ll need to usethe Breeding Farm methodto acquire this creature. In addition to being restricted to the Breeding Farm technique, Elphidran Aqua can only be bred through one specific pairing of Pals, which restricts the player even further. For this reason, it is important to know the required Pal pairing and resources, so that you can source them ahead of time.
How to Breed Elphidran Aqua in Palworld
InPalworld, Elphidran Aqua can only be obtained from a Huge Dragon Egg, meaning the best way to reliably acquire this pal is through the use of the Breeding Farm at your Base. First of all, you will need to unlock the crafting recipe for the Breeding Farm usingTechnology Pointsfrom player level 19 and above. After unlocking this crafting recipe, you will need to gather and use a few materials and resources to build the facility at your Base.
The Breeding Farm Can Be Crafted With the Following Resources:
Afterthe Breeding Farmhas been successfully built, the next step involves cooking some Cake, which will require some Flour, Milk, Honey, Eggs, and Red Berries. Once you’ve got some Cake all cooked up, you’ll need to drop it on the wooden chest box attached to the Breeding Farm facility. The two Pals in the Breeding Farm will be able to generate one Egg per piece of Cake that is placed within the box.
Now that the cake is set up in the Breeding Farm, you’ll need to assign the Pals that you wish to breed as active workers at your Base. Now, walk up to each Pal, and use the V key to pick them up, walk over to the Breeding Farm, and push V to throw them into the space, which will manually assign them to the facility. However, you’ll need to ensure that one of these Pals is female, and the other male, as this is a requirement for Eggs to spawn.
Specifically,Elphidran Aqua can only be breeding Elphidran with Surfent, so you will need to ensure you have both of these Pals beforehand. Once they are assigned toyour Breeding Farm, the pair should generate a Large Dragon Egg after only a short wait.
Now you can simply pick this egg up,place it in an Egg Incubator, and wait the required amount of time for it to hatch. However, if you don’t feel like waiting, you can remove this wait and make the hatching process instantaneous by returning to the title screen before you place the Egg in the Incubator. Now,head into your world setting, and change the Large Egg Incubation Time setting to 0. Load your game up again, place theHuge Dragon Eggin the Incubator, and it will now immediately be available to hatch into Elphidran Aqua.
Elphidran Aqua Abilities & Work Stats, Explained
Elphidran Aqua is useful for more than just completing the Paldeck inPalworld. In addition to having a unique Dual Typing of Water and Dragon, which can be useful for taking on certain wild Pals or enemy bosses, Elphidran Aqua also has the unique Partner Skill titled Amicable Water Dragon. Amicable Water Dragon increases the number of drops from Fire Type Pals when Elphidran Aqua is adventuring by your side as your active Pal. This makes it a brilliant choice for farming resources fromFire Pals, and can even be used withthe Meat Clevermethod to earn 3x drops per Fire Pal.
To use this method, you will need to ensure you have a stash of Pal Spheres, as you’ll need to capture the Pals rather than kill them. For every Fire Pal captured while Elphidran Aqua is out by your side, you will earn 2x the number of usual drops, thanks to Amicable Water Dragon. After capturing a collection of Fire Type Pals, you can then return to base, and use the Meat Clever to kill them off, which will give you an additional round of drops, equaling 3x drops per Fire Pal.
Lastly, Elphidran Aqua also makes quite a handy Pal to assign to your Base as a worker. This is due to the work skills it contains, carrying both aLevel 2 Lumbering skilland Level 3 Watering, which makes this Pal useful for participating in multiple work tasks around your Base. On top of being suited to multiple tasks, Elphidran Aqua also has Level 2 and 3 skills, which makes it significantly more efficient in performing those activities than Pals with the average Level 1 ranking.
