Summary
The Handiwork branch of Work Suitability inPalworldis arguably the most important one, as the amount of tasksyou’ll be completing around your basethat benefit from a higher Handiwork helper is pretty staggering. Whether it’s crafting structures, putting together items, building Pal Gear, or slapping all sorts of decorations together, a Pal that excels in Handiwork will make all of these things easier and faster.
With the sheer number of Pals inPalworldwith different levels of Work Suitability, it can be difficult to determine which ones are the best ones to keep an eye out for. So, let us help out a bit and go over the most beneficial Pals to capture that are related to the Handiwork branch of work.

First up is sort of an odd inclusion, as it’sIncineram Noct, the elemental variant of Incineram. The reasoning for this is simple, Incineram Noct will get less distracted. The base version of Incineram has a level 1 Kindling Skill, and the AI inPalworldneeds a good helping of work, so the more Skills a Pal has the more likely they are to get distracted mid-task to go do something else.
So, if you assign an Incineram Noct to the base instead, it won’t be a huge difference, but it’ll focus on Handiwork tasks a bit more at the very least.

Next up isLunaris, a Pal that has both an amazing Partner Skill and a fantastic spread of Work Suitability considering how early in the game you can find them. Handiwork level 3 already means that Lunaris will be very quick in helping you put together any structure (especially with the right Passive Skills).

But, a Lunaris in your party also means that you’ll be able to carry more materials around for building as its Antigravity Partner Skill increasesthe amount of weight (such as Stone)that you’ll be able to hold. It’s a bit unfortunatethat it even has the Transportingand Gathering Suitabilities at all, but just make sure to manually assign it to a task and it should all work out great.
And now onto a Pal with a pretty fantastic average Suitability level all around, Wixen. Most Pals will have a high level of Work Suitability in one area, and only a level 1 in another area, butWixenonly has level 2 and level 3 Suitabilities, making them proficient at whatever they decide to do.

In the early to mid-game, Wixen is one of your best options for Handiwork Partner, battle partner, Ingot smelter, and chef, with the most difficult part being actually managing to find one in the wild outside of the Mt. Obsidian area of the map.
Another Pal that is beneficial for both Handiwork and also for everything outside of it isVerdash, a Pal we’ve only ever found in the Sealed Realm of the Swift Alpha Pal Dungeon. Once you catch one of these, you’ll immediately see how useful it isfor crafting around the basedue to both its level 3 Handiwork Suitability and its Grassland Speedster Partner Skill.

The Grassland Speedster Skill is especially helpful as it just increases your base movement speed while Verdash is out. So with this Pal, you’ll be able to craft structures even faster and get fromone side of the base to the otherin no time flat.

Now we’re getting to the Pals that are especially hard to not only findbut also to capture, starting withLyleen. You’ll recognize this Pal from fighting Lily, the leader of the Free Pal Alliance who also uses a Lyleen. To get one of your own, you’re going to either need to do some very specific matchmaking to breed one or you’re going to have to do some searching in the third Pal Sanctuary in the top right section of the map (in the middle of the ocean).
After obtaining a Lyleen through either method, it’s very rare that you won’t have it assigned to a base, as the work Suitability of this Pal is just amazing. Not only is it great for Handiwork, but if you leave it alone it’ll manage the food fields, gather them up afterward, create new medicines, and help build any new structures. you’re able to also get or breed a Lyleen Cryst a bit later on that’s helpful in just about all of the same ways.

And for hands down the most beneficial Pal to get for Handiwork, it’sAnubis. Thankfully, you aren’t ‘required’ to get Anubis by catching the Alpha version of it found in the small desert region north of the Investigator’s Fork Fast Travel Gate, as you’re able to also get this Pal from an egg using quite a few different Pal combinations.
Honestly, we don’t recommend looking uphow to get an Anubisfrom breeding while you’re still in the early to mid-game ofPalworld, as it’s so good both statistically and in Work Suitability that it’ll make the game almost too easy for you. The sheer jump in work speed from level 3 Handiwork to level 4 Handiwork is more than you may probably imagine, and it makes crafting some of the higher-tier gear (which takes an absurdly long time to craft by default) a lot less painful.
1Any Pal With At Least Handiwork 2
With Work Speed Leveled Using Pal Souls
Finally, it’s worth including that any Pal that has at least Handiwork 2 is absolutely worth using for Handiwork tasks. This is even more true if you put some Pal Souls of the small, medium, or large variety into that Pal’s Work Speed stat, as it’ll basically advance them from Handiwork 2 to just a bit below Handiwork 4 (in speed, not in actual level).
Granted, grinding Pal Souls can be very tedious inPalworld, and we don’t recommend doing this for every Pal you have with Handiwork 2 or higher. But, if there’s a Pal you’re especially fond of that you want to make even more useful, this is exactly the way to do it.
