Geoff Goodman was Lead Hero Designer at Blizzard for bothOverwatchandOverwatch 2who designed beloved heroes like D.Va, Tracer, and Mercy, among others.

Blizzard has announced the departure ofOverwatch 2Lead Hero Designer just before launch on October 4th. There are no confirmed details as to the reason for his leaving the company, but a spokesperson from Blizzard said he “made the decision to leave earlier this year.” Goodman hasn’t made a public appearance officially since June, so it seems like this departure was recent.
