Publisher Warner Bros. and developer Traveller’s Tales are both known for the creation of the most popular LEGO-themed video games out in the market today. With the action-adventure series spanning numerous well-known franchises such asBatman,Harry Potter,Jurassic World,Lord of the Rings,Star Wars,and more, it is not surprising that their games have experienced great sales performances on a global level, even asports for completely different gaming platforms.

Now, with a recent posting by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board, the originalLEGO Marvel Super Heroesmay bemaking its way to the Nintendo Switch. First launched in October 2013,LEGO Marvel Super Heroeswas released to the public for a variety of platforms such as the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and Windows PC. Due to the game’s popularity and overall success, a sequel (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2) and a spin-off title (LEGO Marvel’s Avengers) were later developed and launched to satisfy the public’s demand for the LEGO versions of their favorite Marvel superheroes.

According to the Entertainment Software Ratings Board’s site, the listing provides short details ofLEGO Marvel Super Heroes' confirmed platform, viewer rating, and summary. The website also shows thatLEGO Marvel Super Heroeshas retained its family-friendly rating of E for Everyone (10+) and has been listed with the “Cartoon Violence” tag. The plot summary included in the listing outlines the action-packed gameplay, whichLEGO-versions ofMarvelcharactersthe player can move around as, and the types of environments & sound effects players will experience while going through the game.

However, fans should note that no solid information about the game’s launch date has been written down on the ESRB’s rating site. Warner Bros. and Traveller’s Tales also have not publicly confirmed anything about their plans for the re-release of the originalLEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This means that bothMarveland LEGO fans will have to wait for more official news than the Entertainment Software Ratings Board’s listing.

Being one of thehighest rated LEGO games of all time, there is a high chance that fans will see the originalLEGO Marvel Super Heroesbeing ported anyway. The game’s sequel,LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, was already made available on the Switch in November of 2017, and developers still continue to bring more LEGO games into the portable console. With theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagaalready rumored to be released in 2021, it is likely only a matter of time until fans will seeLEGO Marvel Super Heroeslaunched into the Nintendo system.
