Cozy Mode

Cozy Modeis the perfect mode for beginners and players looking for a more casual experience inLEGO Fortnite. In this mode, players can expect toface off against easier enemies, along with not having to worry aboutsurviving the heator cold within the different biomes of the world. Other neat benefits include havingunlimited stamina and removing hunger, allowing players to relax and enjoy their adventure.

Off

Survival Mode

Survivalserves as the base game mode forLEGO Fortniteand is essentially the normal difficulty. In this mode,players will experience hunger and stamina consumption, along withfacing off against enemies at their base level. Unlike Cozy Mode, temperature is also enabled by default in Survival, calling upon players to gear up in order tosurvive the coldor heat depending upon which biome they find themselves in. All in all, Survival Mode is great for players looking to build, gather, craft, and face off against mighty foes when exploring the world.

Sandbox Mode

Sandbox Modeserves as a creative playground for players who want to ditch all the survival mechanics in other modes and simply build to their hearts' content.Everything players can build and craft in Sandbox Mode requires no resources, andplayers can even spawn any item they wishvia the expanded inventory system. Other perks of this game mode include the ability tofly by pressing the jump button while in midair, allowing players to explore the world with ease.

Expert Mode

Finally, there isExpert Mode, which serves as the hardest difficulty inLEGO Fortnite. In Expert Mode, players will be greeted with many of the same survival mechanics as Survival Mode, but this timeenemies are cranked up to a harder difficulty. Players will alsoencounter Storm-Wild Enemies, special variants of hostile enemies that have been super buffed by the storm. But that’s not all, asplayers will also be permanently eliminated from their worldshould they lose all their hearts. The only way to escape this elimination is tocraft a Totem Of Return.

Unlike other modes inLEGO Fortnite, many of the setting options in Expert Mode cannot be changed, with the only exception being Friendly Damage, which can be enabled or disabled when creating a new world. Here is a breakdown of the modes' default settings:
