Here are some of the best side quests that players should not be missing out on.
6The Ghost of Our Love
The Ghost of Our Love is a relatively easy but still engaging side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. The quest can be initiated after discovering a map containing an illustration of a forest, some candles, and a bridge. The tricky part about this quest is that the map spawns randomly in places such as the Owlery or the Hogsmeade Graveyard.
Once players have located the mapthe quest is relatively simple. Just follow the candles to reach the destination and the quest will be completed. The completion of this quest rewards players with 180 XP, 400 Galleons and the Treasure-Seeker’s Scarf.
5Well Well Well
Players are bound to come across a well southeast of the Aranshire while exploring some old ruins. A woman’s voice can be heard calling from within the well for help. Upon investigating, players will find the voice is actually of the well itself. The magical well will then urge players to take a map from it to a secret location containing some loot.

This is a quest that many completionists are unable to find. Upon reaching the destination of the map, use the spell Levioso to lift the tree and obtain the loot. The reward for this quest includes 180 XP ,400 Gold and a Treasure-Seeker’s Bicorne Hat,
4The Man Behind The Moon
Harry Potterfans would be quite familiar with the beast known as a Demiguise. A Demiguise is a small creature covered in gray fur. What is interesting about this beast is that it can look into the future which makes it incredibly hard for people to capture it. To make matters even more difficult, a Demiguise can also turn invisible, making it even harder for a common person to encounter one. InHogwarts Legacyplayers might not get a chance to meet a real Demiguise, but the map is filled with Demiguise statues for them to find.
There are a total of 30 Demiguise statues in total spread out across the map, and finding all of them allows players to complete the side quest “The Man Behind The Moon”. Completing this quest rewards players by allowing them to upgrade the Alohomora spell, which then makes it possible for them to pick level 2 and level 3 locks.
3In The Shadow of Time
Hogwarts Legacyfeatures three deadly cursesthat players can get their hands on. One of them is the deadly spell Imperio that unlocks after completing the side quest “In The Shadow of Time”. This side quest becomes available after completing several quests in Sebastian’s long quest line. The side quest will see players visit Feldcroft, the childhood home of Sebastian, where they will have to find an ancient relic.

After completing the quest, players can interact with Sebastian and learn the Imperius curse spell from him. The curse allows players to take control of the minds of their enemies during combat.
2In The Shadow of The Study
Crucio is another one of the three forbidden curses featured inHogwarts Legacythat players can unlock after completing the side quest, “In The Shadow of The Study” as a part ofthe quest line offered by Sebastian, The curse Crucio inflicts intense pain on one’s enemies, eventually causing them to go insane. The quest will see players entering into Slytherin’s Scriptorium with Sebastian and Ominis Gaunt.
The three will then investigate what happened to Noctua Gaunt, which will eventually lead them to a door. Once there players will be required to use the spell Crucio on one of their peers or have Sebastian use it on them. Once unlocked the spell can be used on enemies to inflict prolonged damage.
1In The Shadow of The Relic
Hogwarts Legacyalso features the Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra which is known to be one of, if not the most powerful curses in theHarry Potteruniverse. Players can obtain this curse technique by unlocking the side quest “In The Shadow of The Relic”, as a part of the quests offered by Sebastian.
This side quest requires players to have reached level 28, meaning that they will probably be getting this curse after finishing the main story of the game. To complete the quest, players will also have to battle a character in the cave filled with the Inferi. Just like the films and the book, Avada Kedavra is a curse that instantly kills enemies.
