As one of the latest creations shown off by creators on social media, it reimagines what a Light Cycle match would look like in the world ofHalo Infinite.
Even though some gamers have had the opportunity to check out Forge mode for quite a while now,343 Industries only recently made it available for all users inHalo Infinitevia a beta. Offering robust creation and map editing tools, theHaloseries’ latest addition to Forge has produced some incredible creations, with many talented fans designing new content for the game.

Recently, a gamer known as cjj19970505 shared a clip of a project they had been working on inHalo Infinite’s Forge mode. The video from the Reddit user began with part of a scene from the2010 movieTron: Legacyin which the main protagonist was involved in a Light Cycle match. After a few seconds, the footage cut to a map designed in Forge by cjj19970505. Like in the film, the warthogs, which were substituted for Light Cycles, gave off a colored light trail that would cause the opposing player to explode if touched. The following roughly minute of gameplay showed two gamers going head to head in this arena based onTron.
In addition to showing off the recreation in a video, cjj19970505 gave several other details about the project in the comment section. According to the creator, “each team has an Area Monitor that capsules all blocks, and when the gameplay begins the script adds them to a ObjectList.” Unfortunately, they revealed that the map could not be shared because of a desync bug preventing it from being played on a dedicated server in custom games. However, they noted that they wanted to share it once 343 Industries updated the game.
Unsurprisingly, this latest creation in Forge mode piqued the interest ofmembers of theHalo Infinitecommunityon Reddit. In less than a day, the video shared by cjj19970505 has gained 6.6K upvotes. Among the comments, many fans enjoyed the creation and hoped that the issues with Forge would be fixed so that the creator could share the level for others to try. In addition, many gamers said the video reminded them of the classic Xbox gameFuzion Frenzy. Interestingly, the creator of thisTronrecreation noted in the comments that they had ideas for making more Forge-related content based on that original Xbox game.
