The Monumental Study is one of many Quests available in theGenshin Impact3.6 desert. Sosi, a Skeptic, is in need of Lady Sorush’s help to locate all the Khvarena Monumental Fragments. It is said that if anyone manages to find all four of them, they will obtain a power that rivals a god.
By Sosi’s request in the Monumental Study Quest inGenshin Impact, players need to locate a couple of Fatui Camps and investigate their footprints. That’s because the enemies have the same goal and are searching for the Monumental Fragments as well.

Investigate The Fatui Camp Marked By Sosi In Genshin Impact
The first step is to trigger the Monumental StudyWorld Quest inGenshin Impactso that Sosi can give players clues on the Fragments’ locations as well the Fatui Camps' locations. The next step is to simply find the camps, eliminate the enemies and search for more clues. Players will eventually find footsteps at the final campsite, which they need to follow.
How To Trigger The Monumental Study Quest
To trigger the Monumental Study Quest, teleport to Gavireh Lajavard’sStatue Of Seven inGenshin Impactthen fly south. Approach Sosi and strike up a conversation with the Skeptic to trigger the Quest. She then takes players northwest of the Gate of Zulqarnain inGenshin Impactto reveal the Khvarena Monuments.

Sosi asks for Lady Sorush’s help to retrieve the missing Fragments before the Fatui agents find them. The Pari questions the Skeptic’s intentions since the Fragments will grant unimaginable powers once collected. Upon confirming that there are no ill intentions, Sosi offers a clue on where to find the missing Fragments, and the Travelers head to the first Fatui Camp.
How To Investigate The Fatui Camp Marked By Sosi
There are two camps in total players must investigate to search for clues. To reach the first one, head northeast from the Gate of Zulqarnain anddefeat the Fatui enemies. Approach the crates next to the tent to find someone’s journal. The paper reveals that a Commander by the name of Markozov checks the camps at very specific times.
As for the second camp, it can be reached by teleporting to the Waypoint east of the Gate of Zulqarnain and then going southeast. Take care of the enemies and interact with the note on the bags beside the tent.
It appears that the Commander will inspect the main campsite at noon sharp. Go to the Clock in the Paimon Menu and fast-forward the time to Tomorrow between (10:00 -14:00).
How To Follow The Footsteps In Genshin Impact (Monumental Study)
Teleport to the Waypoint northwest of the Tunigi Hollow and run northeast to find the main camp. The Commander won’t be there, but a set of footprints are seen in the sand at the camp’s entrance.
From the first set of footprints, turn east to find another set then continue in the same direction. A small white arrow can be seen pointing at each set of footsteps.
If players don’t want to bother searching for the footsteps, they can simplyhead southeastnear the Teleport Waypoint. Once there,a bunch of Fatui will ambush them.
Defeat the enemies and continue going southeast slowly. Eventually, players will meet the Fatui Officer at the end of the path.
