Kicking things off, it’s unclearhow successfulOutridershas been. In fact, not even the developer, People Can Fly, is sure, as the studio has yet to receive royalties from Square Enix, the game’s publisher. It’s a bit of a baffling situation, though the studio estimates that it sold around 2 - 3 million copies of the game, reaching a total of 3.5 million players in part thanks to Xbox Game Pass.

Next up,Abandoned’sreal-time teaserwas an absolute disaster, being delayed by a few days only to reveal a brief snippet of footage that the studio had released days before. The game, which was once highly speculated to be a newSilent Hillsproject, has now been more or less confirmed as an elaborate grift.
In other news,Cyberpunk 2077recently released patch 1.3, though it’s more of a general quality-of-life patch than it is the large-scale improvements that fans were anticipating. CD Projekt Red has still failed to address the core of the issues present within the game, which led to sharp criticism during the live stream that detailed the patch.
Finally, classicGrand Theft Autogames are reportedly being remasteredand could release as soon as October. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the report comes by way of Kotaku, which lends credence to it. If the games are releasing so soon, fans should be hearing about them any day now.
