Chapter 4 Season 3 brought some jungle-themed Reality Augments for players to try out. On top of that, some fan-favorite Augments have also made a return, even though others were vaulted. This guide will list all the Augments available in Chapter 4 Season 3, and it will also showFortniteplayers how they work.
Updated Jun 16, 2025, by Ashely Claudino:As Chapter 4 Season 3 progresses, new content will continue release to ensure that Fortnite remains as entertaining as ever. Updates have been issued weekly, and with time, more Reality Augments have been added to the game, while others were vaulted as they didn’t receive positive feedback from the community or simply cluttered the Augments pool.

This guide has been updated to help players keep track of everything that’s new to the game according to changes made with v25.30. Since Chapter 4 Season 3 will be coming to an end in a couple of weeks, there shouldn’t be too many Augment alterations until then.
How to Activate Reality Augments
Reality Augments won’t be available as soon as the match starts. When the Battle Bus leaves the waiting island and starts its route, a two-and-a-half-minute countdown will begin, and once it’s over and the first Storm Circle appears on the map, players will be able to choose their first Augment.
Gamers will have to choose between two random Reality Augments. If they’re not satisfied with any of them, they can reroll for two different options. It’s always random, and the same Augments might come up again, so it can be slightly risky. The first reroll players get in a match is free, but the ones after will cost 100 gold bars.

Reality Augments will remain activated until the end of the match; there is no way to deactivate them, so players must always take into consideration their surroundings, theweapons they intend to use during the match, and their gameplay style. In total, players can choose up to four Reality Augments per match.
Available Reality Augments
There are four Reality Augment categories inFortnite: Combat, Game Changer, Mobility & Scouting, and Looting Reality Augments. Each category will help players improve a specific aspect of their gameplay for the rest of the match.

With update 25.10,Fortniteplayers got three additional Reality Augments: the SMG Extended Mag Augment, the Tracker’s Armory Augment (vaulted), and the Mud Warrior Augment. The latter is particularly interesting because it improves themud present in theFortnitejungle biome- a Chapter 4 Season 3 exclusive.
Later on, update 25.11 added the Heavy Headshot Augment and the Heavy Ammo Required Augment. On top of this, a hotfix was also released a couple of weeks later, and it added the new Splash Party Augment and the Roaming Redeploy Augment - a revamped version of the previously vaulted Aerialist Augment.
As of update 25.30, various Reality Augments were vaulted and had to be removed from this list. Players will no longer be able to use Tracker’s Armory, Primal Companion, and Wildwasp Weaponry. In this update, theFortnitedevelopers added quite a few Augments related to the mud once again, improving this jungle feature even further. Gamers can now make a mud build by activating Mud Warrior, Shrub Mud, and Thermal Mud.
