At first glance, this mod seems to be the perfect answer to the pausing problem. However, that is not the case, as this mod comes with a trade-off. Players will have to give up the online components ofElden Ringif they want to use this mod. The game is not designed to be paused; hence, the only way to use the Pause The Game mod is to launch it offline. Gamers need to disable the Easy Anti-Cheat service to bootElden Ringin offline mode. Modders have come to the rescue in the past with anotherElden RingPC mod that removes framerate capof 60 fps.
