Dungeons & Dragonsfans have been let down by at least one movie adaptation, but that hasn’t stopped Hollywood from taking another swing at the venerable RPG. The latest D&D movie project in the works has had some details such as cast members and directors have already been made public. However, the one thing missing was an official title. Now, that information has finally been revealed by Paramount.

The official title for the movie will beDungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. What this title means for the plot isn’t exactly clear, but no further plot details have been released. The script for the movie was adapted by directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Spider-Man: Homecoming,Game Night) and Michael Gilio from an original story by Gilio andThe Tomorrow Wardirector Chris McKay.

The movie will star Chris Pine along with Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page, and Hugh Grant as the main villain. Though there have not been any official details released about the characters or plot, somebehind-the-scenes photos of the actors and setsgave some details at least on how things will look in the film. The movie’s actors have also been quiet about any specific details, but have offered some hints at what to expect.

Justice Smith, who previously starred InDetective PikachuandJurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,promised that this movie would be “funny as hell,“while Regé-Jean Page said thathis role allowed him to really show off his acting range, adding that this movie would be a “huge sigh of relief forDungeons & Dragonsfans everywhere.” Those words will hopefully offer some reassurance to D&D fans who are still dealing with the previous screen-iteration of the game, the ill-fated 2000 movie that was both a critical and financial flop.

The previous Dungeons & Dragons movie had plenty of problems, but one of its biggest issues may have just been timing. Currently, Dungeons & Dragons is enjoying a sort of resurgence in the mainstream. Along with this latest movie adaptation, a series based on the game is also in the workswithRed Noticedirector Rawson Marshall-Thurber attached. Beyond that, Amazon Prime recently released its own D&D-adjacent project with the animated seriesThe Legend Of Vox Machina. It remains to be seen if this newest movie adaptation can live up to the imagination of fans worldwide, but with a talented cast and enthusiastic writers and directors,Honor Among Thievesmay be off to a more promising start.
