The climatic events of that film have caused the multiverse to spiral, and many fans are expectingDoctor Strange 2to be an intense movie with many new elements being introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.

Fandango announced that they sold moreDoctor Strange 2tickets during its first 24 hours of pre-sales than for any other 2022 film in the same period,including Robert Pattinson’sThe Batman. Furthermore, the first day pre-sales forDoctor Strange 2are Fandango’s biggest since tickets forSpider-Man: No Way Homewent on sale in late November 2021. “The epic first day of presales for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ proves fans are beyond excited to experience all the thrills, chills and blockbuster surprises Marvel Studios is known to deliver,” said Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis.
Doctor Strange 2is so pivotal because it’s coming right off the heels ofSpider-Man: No Way Home.This movie can either fix the multiverse or destroy it based on the outcome of the movie.LokiandNo Way Homeset up the multiverse, but Doctor Strange 2looks to be the first MCU project that will truly explore alternate worlds. Regardless of what Doctor Strange actually does, it’s clear that nothing will ever be the same once the movie is out, and Marvel fans can’t wait.
Marvel fans are really looking forward to theX-Men joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as other characters such as Doctor Doom, The Fantastic Four, Galactus and Silver Surfer. Perhaps the multiverse will pave the way for these characters to finally join the MCU.
