A new Campfire Chat has been confirmed for June 21, in which the development team will discuss what players can expect from this new Public Test Realm. Although no date has been confirmed, Blizzard explained that the PTR forDiablo 4Season 5 would take place after the release of the mid-season update. But the devs backtracked and preferred to postpone the upcoming PTR to avoid clashing withDiablo 4Season 4.

The news announced by Blizzard goes further, and along with the announcement ofDiablo 4’s Season 5PTR, the devs have confirmed the arrival of the mid-season update. According to the devs, the patch notes for the mid-season update will be released on June 14, withDiablo 4receiving the content of Patch 1.4.3 next week. Mid-season updates are often an important time forDiablo 4players, as they come with major balances for the game’s classes and other changes.

If the current moment forDiablo 4is exciting, the coming months hold even more hype for the community. With the official announcement ofDiablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion, it has been confirmed that the long-awaited DLC will drop on October 8. Vessel of Hatred will introduce the new Nahantu region, but despite the change of scenery, players can expect the same dark and brutal atmosphere as inDiablo 4. Another new addition toDiablo 4will be the new Spiritborn class, a powerful warrior who inhabits the Nahanhtu jungle.
