Immediately after the big PlayStation 5 reveal event earlier this month, Remedy Entertainment revealed thatControlwill be released to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, Remedy did not indicate a specific release date, which is why it is a mystery whether the game would launch alongside the next-generation consoles. As to what is next for the franchise, a recent job listing hints thata sequel toControlis already in the works. The job listing is searching for a Senior Producer “for a key role working on Remedy’sControlfranchise.” Of course, this could be for the purposes of the PS5 version of the game, but some fans are hoping that the listing is a hint that a sequel is currently being developed. As of the moment, Remedy Entertainment still hasn’t announced any official plans forControl 2.

Controlis available now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and is also slated to release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
