Call of Duty: Modern Warfarehas its fair share of glitches and technical issues, and while Infinity Ward works hard to update the game on a regular basis, there are still problems that continue to rear their ugly head. Reddit user CHARL13is discovered this the hard way when a reloading glitch caused them some serious problems while playing Infected on the fan favoriteModern Warfare 2map Rust.

In a clip posted to Reddit, CHARL13is shows how a weapon reload glitch ruined their Infected run in a recentCall of Duty: Modern Warfarematch. In the clip, CHARL13is is stuck infinitely reloading his shotgun, and he was unable to break up the animation by placing a claymore or doing anything else. Eventually, CHARL13is switches to his pistol and while he still manages to take out a few infected players before dying, it’s easy to see how this messed up his momentum.

The glitch seen in CHARL13is’s clip appears to be a relatively well-knownModern Warfareexploit involving the Model 680 shotgun. Using theModern WarfareGunsmith features, players can equip the Model 680 with slug rounds and then use up all their ammunition. Doing so will trigger the infinite reload animation seen in the clip.

While some have reported being able to use theModel 680 reload glitchto their advantage, as it still lets them shoot both down the sights and from the hip, most players aren’t able to actually deal damage with it. So even though they’re able to technically shoot forever, it’s not really giving them an advantage most of the time. Regardless, with more clips of this now being shared online, it seems like Infinity Ward will want to address the problem sooner rather than later.

Besides the Model 680 glitch, there are a variety of other technical issues currently plaguing theModern Warfareonline multiplayer experience. But while many of these technical problems are frustrating, some of these are actually interesting. For example, some players have been able toglitch into theModern WarfareWarzone lobby, giving fans a sneak peek at the game’s upcoming battle royale mode.

Speaking of Warzone, the latest rumors claim that theWarzone release dateis Tuesday, March 10. Activision has yet to make any announcement to that effect, but fans will find out if that prediction is correct in just a matter of days.
