Developer Sledgehammer Games announced the news on Twitter, confirming that Double XP is now live acrossModern Warfare 3andWarzone. This includes Player, Weapon, and Battle Pass XP, so no matter what players are feeling the need to grind at the moment, it’ll all be twice as fast. The event is confirmed to run between now and December 28, finishing at 10AM PT. The previous Double XP event addedthree new playlists toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3to celebrate, however, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around.
When Does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Double XP End?
Players who want to rank up fast inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3should take the opportunity over the next few days to hop on and take advantage of the Double XP while it’s there. With Season 1 finally getting underway over the last few weeks, it’s a great chance for gamers to grind unlocks across both titles. It should be noted that the Double XP weekend doesn’t stack with Double XP tokens that can be used in-game, so players who have these should hold on to them until the event concludes.
As is tradition with theCall of Dutyseries, the rumor mill has already started early about what the next iteration of the series could include, and beyond. One rumor suggests thatCall of Duty 2025is making big changes based onModern Warfare 3, which could help alleviate some of the criticism that has plagued the new release.
