A new conversion mod that collides the worlds ofThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildandNier: Automatahas been circulating on YouTube and is getting the attention of fans of both games. The mod was created by modder Lady Luna, who swapped out Link’s character model forNier: Automata’s2B.
The conversion mod was then showcased by YouTuber Lbags, who revealed just how many changes the mod introduced toBreath of the Wild.Apart from the switch in character models, the mod also overhauled the game’s menu system and replaced Link’s glider with two ofNier Automata’sfamous pods. Additionally,Breath of the Wild’smonster parts merchantwas replaced withNier: Automata’sEmil. To make theNier: Automataexperience authentic, the mod also introduces various weapons from the game, as well as the soundtrack that includes the popular songs Memories of Dust and Pascal.

Although bothBreath of the WildandNier: Automataare amazing on their own, this mod that reimagines the combination of the best elements of both titles is really a sight to behold, especially since the sequel toBreath of the Wild 2 iscurrently in the works. At E3 2019, Nintendo announced that it is currently developingThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which is a direct sequel to the 2017 game.
Of course, giventhe massive success of the firstBreath of the Wild,which many believe boosted the sales of the Nintendo Switch, it is unsurprising that Nintendo is already making a follow up to the game. As of the moment, it appears thatBreath of the Wild 2is still in its early stages of development, given that Nintendo still hasn’t announced a release date. However, an industry insider revealed a couple of months ago that the likeliest release date forBreath of the Wild 2will be in 2021 or late 2020 at the earliest.
Given that Nintendo is still reluctant to reveal more information aboutBreath of the Wild 2,several rumors and alleged leaks of the upcoming game have been circulating online. Just a few days ago, YouTuber Tyler McVicker shared a leak that surrounds map details of the upcoming game and howthe sequel will introduce a new Ganon. Talking about the map, McVicker said that the developers will be reusing the same world as the first game but will be repopulating it with dungeons and locations that are similar to old-schoolZeldagames.
