Reddit user Arqoc posted their LEGO recreation ofBaldur’s Gate 3’s Wyrm’s Crossing location. The detail and accuracy of their creation is incredibly impressive, and even features a removable rock panel that houses a creature behind it. The user planned their creation with a digital mockup before diving in to create the remarkable model. Arqoc explains that the LEGO creation weighs around 7.4 kilograms, or 16 pounds, and that it took many months to plan and build and required a whopping 9,530 LEGO parts. They further detail that the large model can even be moved quite easily, thanks to their implementation of connecting pins in the design, which allow the model’s two large bridges to be easily disconnected from the center castle.
This is a design that probably borders on a professional level of quality rather than amateur, with one commentor encouraging Arqoc to submit the design to LEGO’s “LEGO ideas” program. Unfortunately, Arqoc explained that submissions for this program are limited to 3,000 parts. This isn’t the first time that passionate fans have used LEGOs to build impressive creations, like when thisStardew Valleyfanatic made a LEGO recreationof the game’s farmhouse. For any LEGO andBaldur’s Gate 3fans who want to recreate Arqoc’s design, the Reddit user posted a link to instructions in the comments section.
This is just the latest fan project fromBaldur’s Gate 3’s dedicated fan base. AnotherBaldur’s Gate 3fan took it upon themselves to digitally agethe game’s companions, leading to some interesting results. As more and more players finish the game, many are probably hoping for new content to be added.
Currently, there are no confirmed plans for the game to receive DLC, butBaldur’s Gate 3fans have been quick to make a casefor it. The game’s massive popularity makes it seem quite likely thatBaldur’s Gate 3will receive DLC eventually, but fans will have to hold their breath for now.
