One of the biggest events inFortniteis here: the annual Birthday Bash, which involves a special set of special challenges that give players unique rewards. Epic Games is hosting this event to celebrate thebattle royale’s birthday, and the challenges will be available until October 1, so players don’t have that long left to reap the rewards.

ThisFortniteevent comes during thehuge Marvel crossoverthat’s already brought a ton of new content to the game, including more popular heroes like the Norse god Thor, and less known figures like vampire hunter Blade. The Birthday Bash begins today and gives players about a week to complete the challenges, but avidFortniteplayers should have enough time to get their hands on items they won’t be able to get later.

Luckily for players, the challenges aren’t that complex, and probably won’t take too much time outside of the normal timeFortnite players spend to complete weekly challengesand day-to-day activities. Challenges, whether they come at a regular pace or appear solely in events, are one of the things players spend the most time on, although they may be well worth it depending on the reward. The Birthday Bash rewards are largely aesthetic, based on the image Epic released. Here are the Birthday Bash challenges.

As players can see, the challenges are doubled, and each of the two different times that a player completes a challenge they get access to a different prize. Luckily, there are plenty ofFortnite birthday cake location guidesavailable, so going to a place on the map where one of the unique cakes is located to get health/shield from or dance in front of is pretty simple. However, since these are bound to be places where lots of players congregate, players should keep a look out for enemies while they dance or try to get health/shield.

TheFortniteBirthday Bash rewardshaven’t had their names revealed yet, but leaks revealed them ahead of time, and Epic officially gave players an image of the available cosmetics. Playing matches can get the player a bicolor weapon wrap and a cupcake wall decal, dancing gets a record with a cupcake cover and then a different colorful weapon wrap, outlasting opponents gets a different wall decal and then a cupcake sticker with a 3 on it, and getting boons from a birthday cake will earn the player a cupcake sticker with a 2 and then 80,000 XP.

Also, completing any four challenges gets the player a bonus prize: what looks like a hat made to imitate a tall cake lit with candles and a slice taken out. These challenges may take some time, but if players are interested in the looks of the green and pink cosmetics, they may be worth the extra effort.

Fortniteis available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
